marina tucker: dedicated to all of park county

My goal is to uphold the law fairly and equally for all of Park County. I believe in justice and accountability balanced with compassion when it is deserved. I am committed to protecting our Constitutional Rights.

Becoming a politician has never been a goal for me. I care deeply about this community and feel that I have a duty to serve Park County in the ways that I can. I feel a particular sense of responsibility to protect our most vulnerable residents.

I have chosen not to accept campaign donations because I believe that the County Attorney should be governed by the law and professional ethics and I don’t want to be indebted to any private interests. I am loyal to the residents of Park County as a whole.

About

I am blessed that my grandmother put me on a horse when I was six years old. I have since spent my life working with, caring for, and riding horses. This taught me the value of hard work and courage.

Although I later went to college and then graduate school to get a formal education, some of the most important lessons I have learned are to get back on no matter how many times I get bucked off, and not to trust someone who thinks they’re too good to muck stalls.

After earning a Bachelor’s Degree and then Master’s degree in Psychology, I went on to spend over ten years working with children and families.

With a goal to continue to be of service, I made good on a lifelong dream to attend Tulane University and earned my law degree in 2019. In search of horse country and a way of life that matched by values, I moved to Billings Montana and started my law career in civil private practice.

After five years in private practice, I felt driven to return to public service took a job as a prosecutor for the Yellowstone County Attorney’s Office. Not long after, I had the incredible fortune to meet an amazing man from Cody. I fell in love both with this man and with the community. Everything fell into place when I was able to relocate here and begin work as a prosecutor for Park County.
